[ she squeezes his hands before letting them go. there's a drop in her stomach, and she tries to smile at him. ]

Panic drops into his stomach, and he looks sincerely terrified. He's alright lost biking upon arrival, at least until he gets his road racer back. What would happen if he lost anime along with it?]
