i came out to have a good time and i am honestly feeling so attacked right now

HOW IT WORKS:
► STEP 1 | Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2 | Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3 | Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
the copypasta life

I see. It does seem a place with a less than refined atmosphere. [ She flicks her hand, taking in the cafe as a whole. ] This appears to be the nicest place there is.

It is really fancy. Definitely more cosmopolitan than anything else here, but I don't know... [ She softly smiles and her eyebrows furrow a bit. ] The rest of the places aren't so bad. Honeybee's kinda nice.

[ As one can imagine, golden high heels aren't great for walking a whole town in. She looks over Stormer once more, then seems to come to a decision. ]
Have a seat.

[ She sounds a little surprised at that, because it's a gesture she isn't really used to in the first place. Stormer places down her drink and sandwich and slides the chair out. Smoothing her skirt down behind her, she takes her seat in the most polite manner. It's not false or an attempt to suck up, it's just a part of who she is. ]
I'm Mary by the way. [ She softly smiles, gingerly extending her hand. ] Mary Phillips.

[ SHe takes the hand, briefly squeezing before returning to her cup. ]
I take it you have been here awhile, Ms Phillips?
no subject
Not that long... at least, not as long as some other people. I've just been here for two months.

[ She says the word 'landlord' as one might say something much, much fouler than that. ]
no subject
[ She tilts her head a little bit, looking thoughtful. ]
I don't know if he ever has shown himself or not though. Never thought to ask...
no subject
He is certainly thorough. [ Her eyes lift from the screen to fix on Mary again. ] What else?

It's a little hard to explain... they sorta come outta nowhere. There... was a mandatory paintball game not that long ago. We got dropped in places without any warning.

[ She can hardly talk, considering the massive human rights violations Tricell and Umbrella have committed, but it still makes her wrinkle her nose when it could be happening to her. The anger is contained, but only barely. ]
Do people change at all whilst they are here? Why has the government of...wherever this is not intervened?
no subject
[ There's some sympathy in her voice, like she's trying her best to explain everything with only knowing so little. ]
There's a law enforcement, but they're not actually from Holly Heights. [ She lightly shrugs again and reaches for her coffee. ] Otherwise... most people seem to be alright with being here.
no subject
She may be a little self-absorbed. Maybe. ]
I did not realise Stockholm Syndrome was so widespread here. Surely you don't think that any of this is for your own benefit?
no subject
[ She retreats into her shell a little, struggling with her words. ]
People live different lives here. They don't get hurt, they escape war and stuff like that, they actually know what it's like to live a life where they can... they can experience what it's like to belong.

[ She stops in the middle of voicing that thought like she's decided against it and moves onto another instead. ]
He's the one who decides if we leave or not.

[ A very smart girl. Excella is just the sort who has grown very, very used to getting her way. ]
At the very least, the United Nations should be mobilising against this.
no subject
I don't think the United Nations even knows this place exists. It's not... exactly located in a universe we're familiar with.

I—I'm not going to sit here and tell you things to change your mind, because it doesn't really work that way, but... if you think there's something worth looking into, then it might not be a bad idea to try. Just as long as the people who want to stay here can.

Hopefully, I will be able to count on some useful people to assist me.

[ But if she's to be believed, there's no rush. Setting down her cup, she signals with a flick of the hand for another, the gold of her watch gleaming. ]
no subject
Well... until then... [ Stormer places her drink down, then motions to her, palm outward. ] What do you do? A—As a career, I mean.

I am the regional director of Tricell Africa. It is largely a pharmaceutical conglomerate, but of course we have other interests as well.
