[It's not hard, Furuya's stealthy in that way people who never talk have, even if he is six feet tall and growing. He looks between Miyuki and the pot--it doesn't look dangerous--but he does as he's told. Somehow, the dodge to avoid work still turned into work.]

[ To be honest, he normally wouldn't bother with a warning as obvious as 'don't touch the hot pan I'm cooking in', even for Furuya, but the first years have repeatedly proved themselves remarkably capable of incredible ridiculousness. It can't hurt.

He makes a face. ] Nah. The curry's getting frozen for later, so I don't have to cook it every time somebody wants some. [ The knife slices through a carrot with a dull thunk, and then again. His eyes don't move up from the cutting board when he starts talking again. It's harder to catch if you cut off a finger, obviously. ] Nikujaga's better day-after, though, so it's going in the fridge for lunch tomorrow.
