[Gosh, this is difficult. Luckily he has the a lot of patience and discipline or they'd both be back to square one by now. He tilts his head just a little bit. His voice is quiet and about as soft as it can be for him.]

Y'kay?

[It's almost a surprise when Poland hears his voice and doesn't start shaking or something again. He's actually able to meet his eyes and nod, though now he's feeling more shy than actually scared.]

[He relaxes more himself. A mumbled "good" escapes him, though he doesn't make a move just yet. He wants Poland to have as much time as he needs to feel truly all right. Sweden keeps his distance for a little longer, leaning just an inch, a start to see if it's okay to keep going. This is so so awkward and he's equally as shy about it. You're not alone, Poland!!]

[Good. They're in the same boat and it's kind of bad because Poland just wants to get this over with. But when he sees Sweden trying, he tries to move in some. Though this is a little awkward because he's never done anything like this before and he's already blushing.]

[Hey, he wants to get it over with, too. Sweden notices him move in and he carefully keeps going, trying not to stare right at him because he doesn't. That's just. Eye contact would be bad, okay.

Gulp.

Maybe he should take his glasses off? Should he? He doesn't know. It's not like he kisses people.]

[Eye contact would probably make Poland start freaking out again and he moves in far enough where his nose touches Sweden's. But he just touched him, even slightly, and he stops moving because he touched him.]

[?!?!! Oh right that's supposed to be expected. Great how is he even going to proceed, he's pretty much frozen to the spot now. Sweden tries not to chicken out himself because he kind of really does want to pull away and just walk out. But, no. He can do this. Ex-Viking, c'mon, it's just a kiss. With tongue. -- Okay.

He leans in a little bit further and shuts his eyes to make things less stressful for him. He's a few centimeters from Poland's lips and he doesn't know if he can will himself to close the gap anytime soon.]

[Sweden's awfully close and Poland's not sure why this is surprising. This is what happens during kissing and he gulps, trying to remind himself that they just have to do this one little thing and they're done. And Sweden's being not murderous so it isn't too bad. Not the worst ever. There are worse people to be kissing and so, he closes his eyes as he moves in without thinking. When he feels Sweden's lips, he squeaks, but doesn't move away because they'd be doing this whole thing over again. He stays still and shuts his eyes more tightly because he can't even believe he's doing this.]

[Too late to really go back, now. The squeak startles him a bit, but he doesn't make any sudden movements or opens his eyes. Sweden stays stationary before relaxing, carefully leaning just a bit closer, adjusting. Really, you'd think centuries upon centuries would leave much room for becoming adept at something so simple as kissing, but... he's Sweden.

And him being Sweden, he's probably too worked up over this and he's worried and scared and this is very nerve-wracking. But he's determined and he slowly tries to kiss properly, none of this awkward lips-smooshed-together happening. They want this done and over with, after all.]

[Poland's never even really kissed. Not properly anyway. He is pretty much at a loss for what to do and when Sweden starts to actually try to kiss him he feels a lot more stunned because this is so new. It hasn't even gotten anywhere yet, but from what he can see? It isn't entirely bad. Kind of scary in a way, but not bad.

Not sure what else to do, he copies what Sweden's doing. This is embarrassing. He's kissing Sweden!!]

[They're like awkward teenagers practicing how to kiss for their future boyfriends..... but at least it's not bad. Sweden doesn't want to scare him but there's an "including tongue" rule that he'd rather just get out the way so they can pull back and just leave. But he's.... too scared to do that so he'll continue kissing as he is, eyebrows furrowed as he focuses.]

[Poland's kind of forgotten that tongue thing. Honestly this seems like it's enough so why would you need to add tongue? Why? This really doesn't need to be added onto, Poland thinks. It doesn't even seem sanitary.

As they keep kissing, Poland has to wonder why they took so long to just do it. This is easy! They'll be through with this in no time and then he can just put it in the back of his mind as 'weird, but not totally the worst things I've had to do'.]

[It is rather easy, the further along he goes with it. It could be worse, he reminds himself, he could be kissing Denmark (and if he ever had to, he'd rather suffer any consequences for punching him instead). Sweden still keeps his hands to himself, turning to try and get this smooch session over with, mentally prepping himself. He fumbles a little, awkwardly brushing against Poland's bottom lip, not sure how to smoothly cue him in on parting his lips. He'll get there eventually. Somehow.]

[Good to know Poland's not the worst person to be kissing. It's a real confidence booster. Touch him, though, and he'll scream like an outraged nun. Even though they're kissing and that's a lot worse than just touching. When he feels Sweden brushing against his lip, he frowns a little because what are you doing, Sweden? What is this change in script? Is he supposed to do something?]

[Now he's all nervous because Poland's not taking the cue. He stops brushing against his lip and pulls away after a bit longer, breathing out and awkwardly looking away. Sweden knows they're not... done. Which is almost mortifying. He can't just ask Poland to open his mouth so he can slip his tongue in! That's indecent and awkward and why, why, why..... Can't that kiss suffice? Jeez.]

[Poland blinks when he pulls away and he seems so...not Sweden. This is kind of funny and he can't control the small smirk that pops up onto his face.] We done?

[Sigh.]

No. Said... we gotta... [ugh this is embarrassing.] ... gotta use tongue.

[Oops, he shouted that.]

[OW not so loud, jeez. He shrinks back a little and nods.]
