[ He thinks she must be because she's got a plate of odd-looking rocks and ash. ]

No, no, I'm new to the neighborhood and thought it would be polite to introduce myself. I'm Tae Shimura, it's nice to meet you! [She presents him the plate, which is a charred ominous mess.] I made too much food, so I would be happy if you took some.

Oh, hello, Otae-san. [ This doesn't mean that he is not eyeing the... thing by her hand carefully, though. Even he knows how dangerous Otae's food is, especially considering how he's a full human here. ] Please do come in.

[ Casual greeting? Casual greeting. ]

[Tae is equally surprised to see who opens the door, but her smile never wavers.] Kin-san, you're here as well? [Maybe more savory people are here then. But she'll be polite so long as he keeps his manners about him, but she doesn't trust him enough to go inside.]

No, no, I couldn't impose. I was just making the rounds greeting my new neighbors. I'll leave this for you and your family and be on my way.

[Finally emerging from behind the door, Tieria waves the robot away before addressing the stranger.]

What do you want? [He sees the plate and wonders if she burned her food.]

Oh hello. [Tae isn't quite sure how to address the robot. Is it the master of the house or just a helper? She returns to smiling when she is greeted by another person, even if that greeting is a bit rude.]

Sorry for the intrusion, but I am new the neighborhood and felt it would only be polite to greet everyone. My name is Tae Shimura.

It would be impolite not to, Shin-chan. We should build harmonious relationships with all our neighbors so long as we're here. Who knows how long we could be stuck here? [Hope you're okay with being an accomplice in multiple poisonings.]

[ Kagura was lying on the couch, feeling a little sorry for herself. She'd been sick, and no one in the house really seemed to notice. They were all busy with... whatever it is they did on a daily basis.

But she had perked up as soon as she heard that familiar voice from the front steps. And now she's running to the door excitedly, and flinging it open. ]

Anego! It really is you--

[ She stops suddenly as her eyes fall upon that item in Tae's grasp. No... Why God?! Kagura's face instantly contorts in horror. ]

[Tae is just going to ignore that look of horror on Kagura's face. Otherwise she might have to be a bit insulted.]

Kagura-chan, you're here too? Did that landlord marry you off as well? [If so, Tae might have to find this guy and seriously teach him a lesson. There are boundaries, boundaries.]

My new sisters go to school, and Gin-chan has a job sometimes. I was sick so I couldn't go aru. Ah, Anego! I have to show you something!

[ She grabs Tae's free hand, and pulls her inside and toward the kitchen. She grins, because this will definitely get her out of eating what's on that plate! ]

Tae follows her obediently into the kitchen, glad to see that Kagura is still in good spirits.] What is it?

[ She heads over to the freezer and pulls it open. She steps back and waves her hands airily like a model on a game show. The whole freezer is packed full of Tae's favorite ice cream.

In her mind, Kagura is hoping beyond all hopes that it makes her forget about other kinds of "food". ]
