[Noticing her lost expression, Seto wanders over to her side. He tucks his hands into his pockets, peering in her direction.]

"Hey, need some help? If you can't reach something, I can get it down for you."

[He doesn't work here, but he's spent enough time scaling ladders and shifting products around to be unafraid of making use of the supposedly 'employees only' ladders. Besides, he can probably reach things she couldn't just due to his height. Of course, that's not actually her problem right now...]

[Oops. That's enough to snap Rosalia out of her stupor and pay attention to the boy speaking. That was a nice offer, wasn't it?]

Oh, no! It's not that they're too high, it's just a lot of cereal.

[He turns his attention back to the cereal. She's right.]

Well... How much d'you need? Might take a few trips, but I bet we could carry it all. [That's the issue...right?]

[She looks down at her still-empty basket, then at herself and Seto, then at the cereal...oh!]

I'm sorry! Not like that. I just need one box...only there's a lot of kinds to choose from.

Oh! [Well, that was much simpler.]

What kind d'you like? Back home, we get the really sugary stuff,with marshmallows and junk. Someone must really like it. [He doesn't remember which of his housemates is the one who adores that kind of stuff, but for some reason that's what they consistently had.]

[It's hard to remember what they had at home before, years ago. Rosalia strains to think.]

We used to have...it didn't have too much sugar. Maybe it was healthy?

[A family of doctors probably ate healthy, right? She can see her brother preferring something like that, anyway.]

Healthy, huh? [Well it's not like there's a shortage of options.] Maybe one of the kinds with fruit in?

[He pulls a box off the shelf that promises dried raspberries and... some sort of healthy wheat?] How 'bout this?

Oh! But are you sure you wanna get this? Looks like there's one with blueberries instead. [I know, I know, it's a tough choice.]

[Yeah, no, Rose isn't feeling up to those choices right now.]

No, it's okay. Raspberries aren't bad either.

Well then, here ya go! [Hands over the cereal with a grin.]

That's one item off your list, right? It's easier when you take it in steps, I think.

[Is it that obvious that this is her first time? She can feel her face heating up, oh no.]

[Dinner. She hasn't actually decided dinner yet.]

[Most would take that as their hint to leave, but Seto's not quite that bright.]

That's pretty vague, y'know! I'm sure you'll be able to find something. They're having some sort of sale on vegetables, if that helps! [It's not nearly as exciting as he makes it sound.]

[The company's nice, honestly. Being alone stinks - and hey, that's a lead.]

Vegetables? Okay, I'll have to take a look! I can definitely make something with that.

Ah, is that right? [Seto can cook, but that doesn't mean he's good at planning meals. He holds a certain amount of awe for those who can.]

What are ya planning to make?

I was thinking of cooking the vegetables with some rice...maybe chicken, too.

But it might take a while to get everything together.
