KEEP ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN

HOW IT WORKS:
► STEP 1 | Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2 | Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3 | Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
copypasta'd, I ain't original enough to make a new one.

It's a little overwhelming, and all of a sudden she's acutely aware that she's never been here without her father before. But...well, she's here. Rosalia grips her shopping basket tightly and stares up at the shelves.]
Um--cereal. Right.
[One of these two dozen varieties.]
What did we used to get at home again?
no subject
They might not have the same brands you're used to here. There's probably something similar, but why not try something new?
no subject
Sorry! I didn't know you were there. But, um...
[She glances back at the lines of cereal boxes.]
There's a lot of new things here.
no subject
[BUT ANYWAY. he steps closer to Rosalia, turning to look at the shelf of cereals in front of them. Nothing he can recognize, nope. Though some of them just look way too artificial and bright. Jokes cereal with the rabbit on the box, lucky tokens with the short green man, all cereals that look just fake and nothing like what he knows.]
I wasn't used to these before coming here, either. I like this kind, though. [he gestures toward whatever generic sort of honey nut cheerios they have there]
no subject
[That's as good as anything, right? And it's recommended. Rosalia grabs the box and puts it in her basket, sighing with relief.]
Are there this many of everything?
no subject
I kind of like having so many options to choose from, to be honest. [But to follow up on that:]
Are you looking for anything else?

If you want help looking for something specific, I don't mind helping.

Really? Then do you know where the vegetables are?

[ jake's about to take whatever box is more appealing at this point to get it over and done with, but the voice nearby catches his attention. ]
You forget your shopping list?
[ ooc: omgosh a rosalia *^* ]
no subject
I didn't bring one, actually. I wanted to see what was here.
(OOC: FELLOW FAN. ♥)

[Okay, that makes her giggle a little. But actually, she remembers seeing commercials for that stuff when she was a kid and there are more than a few cereals like that here...]
Maybe something else.
no subject
[ he doesn't know if it is or isn't, either way he's just teasin sddfasdjf ]
no subject
Uh...
[Rosalia scans the shelves for a second and picks one that doesn't seem like it'll be too bad for her.]
There! Did you want something too?
no subject
Me? Nah, just shopping for my place.. Just need something for, uh, the kids there. [ man that's still weird to say ]
no subject
[Cooking is one of the things she's pretty confident with. It reminds her of...well, home.]

"Hey, need some help? If you can't reach something, I can get it down for you."
[He doesn't work here, but he's spent enough time scaling ladders and shifting products around to be unafraid of making use of the supposedly 'employees only' ladders. Besides, he can probably reach things she couldn't just due to his height. Of course, that's not actually her problem right now...]
no subject
Oh, no! It's not that they're too high, it's just a lot of cereal.
no subject
Well... How much d'you need? Might take a few trips, but I bet we could carry it all. [That's the issue...right?]
no subject
[She looks down at her still-empty basket, then at herself and Seto, then at the cereal...oh!]
I'm sorry! Not like that. I just need one box...only there's a lot of kinds to choose from.
no subject
What kind d'you like? Back home, we get the really sugary stuff, with marshmallows and junk. Someone must really like it. [He doesn't remember which of his housemates is the one who adores that kind of stuff, but for some reason that's what they consistently had.]
no subject
[It's hard to remember what they had at home before, years ago. Rosalia strains to think.]
We used to have...it didn't have too much sugar. Maybe it was healthy?
[A family of doctors probably ate healthy, right? She can see her brother preferring something like that, anyway.]
no subject
[He pulls a box off the shelf that promises dried raspberries and... some sort of healthy wheat?] How 'bout this?
no subject
[Hey, that looks suitably healthy. Fruit and everything.]
Yeah! I think that'll be good. Thanks a lot!
