Trouble? Like what?

[What constitutes as trouble anyway? He's packed the house with animals and terrorizes the neighborhood constantly, but formal complaints have yet been a thing.]

[does he even want to know who or... what ryuu-chan is? no. no he doesn't.] Does Rin even know that you've done all this to Tachibana?

[This is his overblown reaction to being excited about ice cream while, in the same gesture -- just as he's accepted it, he's flicked!! It hurts! It's like someone snapping a rubber band against skin..!!]

It was temporary! [He's pouting, it's annoying.] He knows enough....HEY-! I don't have to tell Rin-senpai everything, YAMAZAKI-SENPAI! DOES HE EVEN KNOW YOU WORK HERE..?!

But you still did it. [he crosses his arms and shakes his head.] I think you mean that he doesn't have the slightest clue of half the things that you've done. And Tachibana's too nice to go rat on you too.

[he sighs.] As much of a menace as you probably are to your parents, at least cut Tachibana some slack. [he didn't ask for this life.] And I'm sure he does, but he's not a fan of sweet things.

[it's a good thing he's built up somewhat of an immunity to those whines. if he can power through the constant complaints of "TRAIN ME TOO YAMAZAKI-SENPAI" he can power through this as well. (no ok, probably not bc momo's probably gotten better at it...)

Momo wanted ice cream [he brought him to you] and so we came here. He helped clean up the whole house, and he wanted this as his reward.

[sousuke has learned enough about this place to be able to surmise that makoto got saddled with momo as his... kid. god speed tachibana. god speed. also yes, how kind of you to reunite him with his kouhai..... except maybe next time warn him when you do that. he needs at least a month to prepare himself for momotarou mikoshiba.]

That's nice. If only we knew sooner that giving him rewards would actually make him keep his room clean. [is he going to tell rin this trick whenever they go back? (that's even considering if he'd even remember this too) nah. but that's mostly because he likes seeing his best friend resist the urge to clean his kouhai's rooms. ANYWAY--]

[guess who couldn't sleep bc some one kept banging on his door late at night whining about wanting to be coached as well... he quirks a brow and nods.] Yeah, the flavors are behind me.

I can't really give him presents all the time? But once in a while is alright. It seems like you've had more experience than I in how difficult it can be to keep Momo reeled in. Most nights he refuses to sleep anywhere but in my room's extra mattress.

[but that all changed quite a bit when yachi arrived. looks over at the menu...]

There's always so many choices of flavour here... I never really know what to go for.

[okay, but does that mean that if he brought momo into this world he can take him out of it as well??]

Why not? People do it with dogs all the time. [ouch, did he just compare momo to a dog? he sure did.] Not that he is one, but I get the feeling that it's easier to get him to do something like chores when he has an incentive to look forward to when he's done. Besides it doesn't have to be something terribly costly. I'm sure he wouldn't mind being able to learn a few tricks from you since you both swim the same style.

Well if you want some recommendations-- [a pause as he listens to makoto's request. hmn. that sure was oddly specific. but he shrugs and goes to get the sundae cone-- or whatever the fuck this is ready. honestly sousuke, you should maybe learn what it is you're making that way you don't have to stare at the pictures of said delectables for too long.] One or two scoops?

He's very spontaneous, so I figure having a rigid schedule doesn't quite work for him. Rin really manages to control him best, I'm too soft... But talking to him about swimming tips really seems to help, too!

[overexerted]

[sneezes on it uvu I MEAN-- nah he'd never be that mean. that and he doesn't want rin crying to him about this later, so! he puts it together with ease. he's even a little bit generous with the caramel drizzle as well. once he's done he hands the ice cream cone over to makoto and passes him a napkin as well.]

Well that's a given since he's Momo's captain. You usually tend to listen to your captains if you know what's better for you. [that and he's sure seijuurou would give him a noogie if he didn't.] You'll find your knack eventually. Everybody has their own ways to get him to do what they want. I'm sure it'll take you a little while longer to figure out what and what doesn't work for his handling.

[splasher]

Rin can also be pretty scary... Ah, thanks, Sousuke.

[here's an exchange; the ice cream cone for his credit card so that sousuke can run the charge at the till. makoto gets a small plastic spoon from one of the proffered containers and takes a cold bite of his ice cream]

Though I don't mean to complain! Living with Momo is actually kind of fun. We went beetle hunting together the other day--I didn't realise how involved that was!

[overexerted]

Of course he can, you should see him when he wakes up in the morning or is woken up in the middle of the night by something. [tho... ah... you probably have, but shhh. humor him ok.

anyway-- he takes the card and swipes it through the card reader and then hands it back to makoto with his receipts.] Oh? He actually managed to coerce you into joining him? Did you have fun?

--it, was pretty interesting. I like camping by itself already, so beetle hunting was an interesting extra to it. I didn't catch much, but by the time we came back he slept for nearly a whole day!
