[he nods.] Yeah my friend runs it, and I-- [things that surprise sousuke? this. he wasn't expecting anybody (outside the people that were from his home) to catch on to the fact that he had a hurt shoulder and needed more physical therapy. at least he's still going to it... or at least was until he arrived here. there aren't that many people who are experienced in that field here. other than some of the doctors. but it's not like he was actively swimming again either.

Your numbers are off. Your other shoulder is steady and stable, but not this one. It's weaker. It's been damaged. A sprain, maybe, or a torn ligament.

[sure his shoulder has been tingling a lot but it hasn't been hurting him like it used to back then. he had been trying to take care of himself after his last race with rin. so the fact that she was able to get all of that just by looking at him is concerning.]

But yeah it was something like that. I had overexerted myself in training so I could reach my goal I had made when I was younger.
