( if marlene had arrived, they surely would have arrived together. with denzel, too. her heart sinks a little. ) There's also a boy -- he has light brown hair, kind of floppy... bright eyes. He's quiet. His name is Denzel... Maybe you've seen him instead?

I haven't heard of a Denzel either...

[takes his phone out, and taps on the screen]

I could check if they're on the list of people here. If they're here, they'll show up on the contacts list, but if they aren't, then they're really not here.

Oh - I hadn't thought to look! Neither of them have their own phones at home, so I didn't even consider... ( quickly, tifa pulls hers out of her pocket and begins flipping through the names. she's hopeful, at first, but as she goes down the list and sees neither, her face falls. ) ... No. They're not here... ( and now she's concerned, even more than before. she's their mother, for all intents and purposes. they're her little ones. cloud's not on here either. no one familiar is. her family... but perhaps if cloud isn't here, either, he's at home with them, protecting them in her absence. in spite of the ache in her chest, tifa offers a warm smile to the young man - not much younger than her, by the looks of him - who so kindly went out of his way to help a stranger. )

Uhm... It might not be much, but... They might show up eventually, and if they don't, then it's not so bad. I mean, that is, time moves differently back home than it does here. Our friends and family don't seem to notice we're missing, and it's mostly as if we've never been gone.
