tdm + em; we're doing this now

HOW IT WORKS:
► STEP 1 | Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2 | Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3 | Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
copypasta as per usual
ENABLE MEME

There are multiple ways to use this post:
- PLAYERS IN GAME: post who you'd like to play next round or who you're unsure of playing, and then let other people
auction your soul off at an affordable pricegently push you into the direction of actually apping them come the new app cycle (concrete details later on that).- OR YOU COULD: Ask for castmates, be you in a cast or a lone canon warrior. Think of it like a kind of in game ATP ad.
- IF YOU DON'T EVEN GO HERE: You might want to? If you do, feel free to post with your account, a picture, whatever you want and let us take you under our wing so you can be a part of our large, rowdy family.
So let the fun begin!

a. sports center
[the best thing to do to acclimate is to approximate normalcy, nori thinks. the fact that there are other people here from seidou is almost as jarring as the sudden change in location-- if you're gonna wake up somewhere that's not where you normally wake up, it'd be easier to deal with if everyone was strangers, right? instead of some people being the same, like this one bizarre slice of where he had been plopped in the middle of where he was.
but, at least there's a sports center, something more familiar no matter where his actual geographical location is (and he's trying not to think about that, it makes him feel fuzzy and disconnected), so he spends some time pitching into a net, and ends up staring into it, absently turning a ball over in his hand, feeling the seam against his fingers, losing track of time.]
b. wildcard!
[uhhh yes what it says on the tin! I'm very much still feeling my way around, so come at me with whatever!
a!
because all sports animes all go to the sports centerfor his own practice as well. He knows he always needs work with his batting, so he has a bat resting on his shoulder as he walks past where Nori is practicing. Or was, maybe, seeing how he looked like he was spacing out.Youichi decides he should disturb Nori's quiet time by approaching the sidearm pitcher.]
Yo, Nori!
Re: a!
Ah-- Kuramochi, what are you doing he--
[he cuts himself off, eyes falling on the bat resting against the boy's shoulder. duh, nori. don't be dumb, this might as well just be business as usual.]
Batting practice, right.

[It wasn't exactly question, since it looked obvious enough. He proceeds to ask more questions.]
So when'd you get here?
no subject
Not long ago, I, um, I've been trying to learn my way around but I just kind of gravitated here. [he huffs a little laugh through his nose.]
I guess it makes sense.
no subject
We all like baseball, of course it'd make sense for us to end up here. Hyaha!
...Just gotta make sure some of the first years go home to rest up though, I have a feeling someone like Sawamura'll literally try to stay over in this place.
no subject
Practice areas do kind of feel like home, though.

[ Eijun loudly announces the moment he sees Nori. Complete with pointing. So who's left pitching at Seidou now?! ]
no subject
Stop pointing, Sawamura, it can't be that exciting.
no subject
[ ignores whatever you just said. HOW CAN YOU LEAVE SEIDOU. WHO'S PITCHING THERE NOW?! ]
no subject
Wh- not on purpose--??
no subject
[ Oh he didn't mean it seriously! ....If he sounded serious.... though... ]
no subject
There's-- there's like a hundred people in the club, I'm sure it won't be a problem...

He even goes as far as to lift his arm and, finally, his head, but he's not actually going to throw the orange. At least, not once he realizes Nori-senpai is that close. (There's definitely a little hitch in his arm, though. Almost.)]
Nori-senpai?
wibbles at
furuya, please.]
...were you going to throw that?
wibbles at
[Somebody's a terrible liar, and lying to a senior, too. Furuya busies himself with getting a bag for his totally not hardball-sized orange and a couple of others, because who buys just one orange? Or takes, anyway, the buying is a non-issue.]
When did you get here, senpai?
Re: wibbles at
but he's being asked a question, so he can table his confusion for now.]
Really recently... um, I feel like I'm having trouble keeping track of time, though.
no subject
Nori-senpai's answer makes him tilt his head, though.]
There's a calendar in your phone.

[heat blooms in his cheeks, quick as always-- such an obvious solution and it hadn't even occurred to him.]
I... hadn't thought of that. [he does try a small smile, though, a little embarrassed.] Thanks for the tip?

gently screams hello ; a
Nori? Something up? [ He cracks a smile, eyebrows raised. ]
wiggles gently HI
Oh-- no, I just... got a little distracted.
no subject
Don't get too distracted, Sawamura'll manage to sneak up on you. [ Said with the dry humor of experience. He shifts to rustle one-handed through his bag and peels out his glove. Pitchers like pitching - and the back-and-forth of pitching practice has a familiar rhythm for Kazuya, too. ] The net'll be there, pitch to me instead? [ It's not a usual question, to be sure, but this isn't the usual place. ]
no subject
Really? [dumb question, but it falls out of his mouth before he can think about it, and he grips the hardball he's holding a little more tightly.] --um. I mean, sure.
no subject
[ He pauses in the middle of setting his bag down, looking up from hunched over a little. He can't help but poke a little. ] Unless you'd rather stare at the net some more? [ (Really, he's been doing this for eight months, and he still has no clue how the captain thing is really supposed to work. Thankfully, the catcher thing is a lot easier.) He crosses to find extra space, his bag left behind, and settles into a crouch. ]
no subject
Guess there's nothing like the real thing. [a small joke!]
